What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, more commonly known as CBD, is a compound extracted from the hemp plant. The hemp plant is a cousin of the marijuana plant, but, unlike marijuana, the hemp plant contains no more than trace amounts of the psychoactive ingredient tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Therefore, hemp-derived CBD does not cause a “high.”

Is CBD Safe?

The World Health Organization reports that “there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.” However, many CBD products currently fall outside the scope of federal regulation, resulting in products that vary widely in quality. Products may not contain the stated amount of CBD, or may contain additional foreign, harmful ingredients. Therefore, consumers should only purchase CBD from reputable, trusted brands that test and certify their products.

Does CBD really Work?

Definitive research on CBD’s efficacy is in its early stages and, like any treatment, individual responses to CBD will vary. Many people have successfully used CBD for relief from stress, anxiety, inflammation, aches & pains, and sleeplessness. Recent studies have buttressed CBD’s promise for arthritis, inflammation and chronic pain.

What is Emu Oil?

Emu oil is an all natural product made from the refined fat of an emu (a large flightless bird, native to Australia). Emu oil contains essential fatty acids. These fatty acids assist in the reduction of pain and inflammation.

Why use Emu Oil?

As a base ingredient, we use AEA Certified Emu Oil, an all natural product that is rich in antioxidants, contains essential fatty acids, and is known for its own health benefits.

Emu oil is celebrated for the way it absorbs into the skin. As a CBD delivery mechanism, Emu oil increases CBD enhancement and absorption.

Is CBD Oil Legal?

Recent federal legislation legalized hemp-derived CBD in the United States. Marijuana-derived CBD is not legal at the federal level.

Will Healthnetics products show up on my drug test?

Healthnetics products are consistently tested and found to be free from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Test results can be found here. Much like the consumption of poppy seeds may lead to a positive drug test for opioids, however, the consumption of certain hemp products may lead to a positive drug test for trace amounts of THC. If you are subject to drug testing, please consult your health care provider before consuming any Healthnetics products.

Are Healthnetics products safe for Pets?

Healthnetics products are safe for the entire family. That includes your pets. CBD has been known to provide relief to dogs who experience anxiety and other behavioral issues. Talk to your veterinarian before giving any CBD product to your pet.
